Jacobs is seeking a Wastewater Operations Supervisor to join our collaborative team in Roseburg, OR
. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to lead our team of operators in the operation and maintenance of a class four wastewater treatment facility. You’ll work closely with project staff to maintain permit compliance and optimize wastewater treatment processes. You will help train and develop operators and prepare them for success in the wastewater field. You will work with the project manager to develop standard operating procedures and best practices.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities- Monitor wastewater treatment operations, make process decisions, and guide operations staff.
- Diagnose process and equipment issues and work with the team to correct.
- Prepare reports and maintain accurate records.
- Conduct plant inspections for operational efficiency, cleanliness, and maintenance.
- Supervise, train, and evaluate operations team members.
- Respond professionally to emergencies and perform other duties as required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Oregon/ABC Wastewater Treatment Level 3 Certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months).
- 5+ years of experience in wastewater treatment or related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Valid state driver’s license with no major infractions.
- Knowledge of activated sludge wastewater treatment operations and process control.
- Experience with compliance monitoring and reporting.
- Familiarity with PLCs, SCADA systems, and CMMS programs.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and respond effectively to challenges.

The base salary range for this position is $79,040.00 to $91,520.00; though will be paid hourly based on hours worked. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
