Chief of Staff & Podiatry Leader - Clinical Ops

The incumbent serves as the Chief of Staff (COS) Podiatrist for Roseburg VA Health Care System (RVAHCS) of the Veterans Health Administration. The RVAHCS consists of the Roseburg VA Medical Center, the Eugene Health Care Center, the Eugene Downtown VA Clinic, the North Bend VA Clinic and the Brookings VA Clinic.

The Chief of Staff, under a performance contract with the Facility Director, serves as advisor for all clinical operations within the health care system. Due to the complexity of the position not all responsibilities, duties and requirements can be specifically notated; this is a high level position that requires expert knowledge, expert decision making and the proven ability to implement decisions and programs and hold staff accountable;

a large portion of this position is understanding information, taking appropriate and timely actions, ensuring processes are in place for permanent resolution and that auditing can/will occur. Major duties also include but are not limited to:
