Journeyman Millwrights will safely and effectively perform general maintenance and repairs for assigned equipment and facilities at the Dillard Lumber mill site.

• Work safely and effectively in a team environment
• Inspect and identify equipment or machines in need of repair
• Troubleshoot issues to determine necessary repairs or adjustments to improve operation
• Assist with planning repair work using drawings, equipment manuals, or field research
• Perform precision repairs on mill equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and activities (lubrication and preventive maintenance plans) on mill equipment and building systems as required to ensure reliability of the operation
• Cleans and assists with upkeep of the mill facility
• Perform other related duties as assigned

• Consistent and predictable attendance
• Ability and willingness to cross‑train into new jobs and skills
• Ability to work a manufacturing shift configuration (24/7)
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret drawings
• Knowledge of maintenance practices and repair
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools
• Excellent organizational and time management skills

• Knowledge of a CMMS
• Knowledge of precision maintenance techniques, mechanical and/or electrical and instrumentation

• 4+ years experience as Millwright in production environment

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking
• Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
