Nurse ICU III

As an ICU Nurse, you will work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to provide patient care of considerable difficulty, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care given to patients.

Essential Duties:

• Observe, collect, and record data related to a patient's biophysical, psychosocial, environmental, and self-care abilities, as well as educational and discharge planning needs. Analyze assessment data to formulate a nursing diagnosis. Measure progress toward patient outcomes and goals.
• Implement an age-appropriate plan of care in conjunction with the physician, patient, family, and other members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Administer medication to ensure patient safety.

Shift: 6:45 am - 7:15 pm

Core

Schedule:

Week 1 Sun, Mon;
Week 2 Mon, Fri

This position requires on-call with a 45-minute response time.

License/Certification:

• Current RN license issued by the State of Oregon required.
• Must have current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers at hire.
• ACLS required within six (6) months of hire.
• TNCC, PALS, and/or CCRN certification preferred.

Experience:

• A minimum of 2400 hours within the last 24 months as a Registered Nurse in critical care (ICU, PCU) required.

Education:

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
• BSN preferred.
