* Job Description:
* We are seeking an experienced Lead Certified Veterinary Technician to join our team and take on a dual role as both a skilled technician and a mentor. In this position, you will:
* * Deliver Exceptional Patient Care:
* Perform daily clinical duties including patient exams, assisting in surgeries, administering treatments, and ensuring adherence to safety and medical protocols.
* * Provide Leadership and Mentorship:
* Serve as a lead for our Veterinary Technician and Veterinary Assistant team. Foster growth through hands-on training, coaching, and skill development to build confidence and competence among staff.
* * Enhance Workflow Efficiency:
* Delegate tasks effectively to support a smooth and efficient clinical operation. Collaborate closely with veterinarians and other team members to ensure all patients receive the highest standard of care.
* Schedule:
* * Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
* Compensation & Benefits:

* * Pay Range:* $23 - $30 per hour (Based on experience)

* Minimum Qualifications:
* * Current Veterinary Technician License in the State of Oregon
* A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a veterinary setting
* At least 1 year of leadership experience
* Proven ability in developing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and conducting staff training
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a passion for mentoring and team collaboration
* Proficiency in key clinical skills including anesthesia intubation/induction, anesthesia monitoring, surgical assisting, dental prophylaxis, and IV catheter placement
