Business Development Sales Rep Details
  • Direct Hire position
  • $80,000.00 to $ annually
  • Full Time work available
  • First Shift (Monday through Friday)
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
  • Develop a deep understanding of the wood products industry and company capabilities
  • Identify, pursue, and follow up on new business opportunities
  • Collaborate with customers and sales engineers to create accurate scopes of work
  • Prepare, present, and support proposals throughout the sales cycle
  • Assist with marketing initiatives and represent the company at trade shows
  • Identify and qualify prospective customers, generate leads, and close sales
  • Negotiate pricing and terms; prepare and deliver sales agreements
  • Organize and maintain leads, proposals, and customer activities in the CRM
  • Travel extensively to visit customers and support sales efforts
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing, or Business Management
  • Mechanical aptitude and understanding of industrial systems
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to climb plant access ladders and safely work in industrial environments
  • Ability to travel approximately 25% of the time domestically and internationally with valid passport
  • Applicant may be subject to a background check
  • Applicant may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Report
  • Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
