- ASE incentive of $0.25/hour for each relevant ASE obtained (we pay for training materials and exams)

As a Technician at First Student, you will play an integral role in ensuring the safety of children who rely on us for daily rides.
Responsibilities include:
- Performing maintenance on brakes, suspensions, drive trains, and transmissions
- Completing work orders
- Assisting with mobile emergency services
Mechanics and technicians are subject to DOT drug testing as safety‑sensitive employees.
Qualifications- 3 or more years of experience working with automotive, diesel, electric, or CNG vehicles
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to obtain a CDL (training provided)
- Mechanic's tool set
- Desire to grow, learn, and develop skills through ASE testing
- No college degree required
- Military experience
- Returning to the workforce
- Seeking hourly (not flat‑rate) jobs
