• Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekend/Holiday Coverage:
  Every other weekend and holiday coverage required
• Patient Ratio: IMC 1:4
• Charting System:
  Cerner EMR
• Scrubs:
  Navy Blue (not provided)
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1590-$1710

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active compact or Maryland RN license
• Minimum 2 years of recent IMC, PCU, or Stepdown RN experience
• Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Strong telemetry and Med-Surg/IMC clinical skills
• Preferred:
  Ventilator management experience
• Ability to float to units of equivalent or lower acuity
• Two supervisor references required
• Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)
• First-time travel nurses welcome

Cardiac Stepdown RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to cardiac stepdown and IMC patients
• Monitor and interpret telemetry and cardiac rhythms
• Manage arterial lines, central lines, and chest tubes
• Administer blood products and cardiac drips (no titration)
• Care for ventilated patients and those requiring respiratory support
• Perform phlebotomy, IV starts, and feeding tube management
• Implement isolation precautions and heparin protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (IV, PT, RT, pharmacy, social services, etc.)
• Float to Med-Surg unit as needed
• Document patient care using Cerner EMR
