Key responsibilities include:

• Completing work orders using knowledge of HVAC, security and sprinkler systems, fire alarms, plumbing, heating, electrical, and other building systems.
• Using proper construction and maintenance techniques with power and hand tools for tasks such as vinyl floor covering, wall molding, caulking, countertops and cabinets, window screens and blinds, interior and exterior doors, electrical circuits, receptacles, breakers, switches, fuses, light fixtures, appliances (stoves, refrigerators, washers & dryers), HVAC troubleshooting and repairs, plumbing fixtures, minor drywall damage, sub‑flooring, insulation, wall studs, floor joists, gutters, downspouts, interior/exterior painting, rodent control, and more.
• Working mandatory overtime, on a rotating schedule, responding to after‑hour service calls under adverse conditions, and making accurate decisions.
• Assisting contractors, reporting hazardous situations, maintaining building interiors (painting, cleaning, upkeep), handling resident complaints professionally, monitoring supplies, maintaining equipment and company vehicles, and assisting package management and snow removal as required.
• Following job‑related safety regulations and performing related duties assigned by the Property Manager.

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Type I and II CFC Certification for HVAC preferred.
• ACCA Certifications—Refrigerant Transition & Recovery.
• OSHA Certification preferred.
• 1‑2 years of maintenance experience at an apartment complex.
