Well, this may be the role for you.

As a Contracts Director, you will be responsible for developing and managing a wide range of complex third‑party partnerships and major vendor relationships to support strategic products, services, software, and other initiatives. Directly and indirectly, you’ll source, negotiate commercial and legal terms, and draft, close, and manage complex agreements to secure the necessary relationships and technology for our current and future needs.

You will also be responsible for reviewing the current end‑to‑end software lifecycle process and recommending future improvements that align with broader organizational initiatives and partner‑driven enhancements.

In this role, you will advise and provide consultative support to senior and executive management regarding areas such as preserving ADP’s business flexibility, maximizing ADP’s leverage and benefits, and negotiating strategic partner and vendor transactions. Additionally, you’ll stay informed about business, technology, industry benchmarks, and legal developments, ensure that vendors are financially stable, and proactively respond to trends and developments to capitalize on opportunities and avoid adverse business impacts.

  • Draft, negotiate, and close a wide variety of complex agreements and transactions with ADP's strategic business partners and major vendors to achieve technology and product/service initiatives, secure long‑term relationships, and realize ADP's financial goals while minimizing risk and exposure.
  • Advise a team of managers and negotiators, providing guidance and support to staff in contract negotiations and implementation.
  • Manage strategic business partner and major vendor relationships to ensure ADP achieves its strategic product/service and financial and operational initiatives. Interface with stakeholders to ensure contract requirements are met.
  • Develop and implement contract policies and procedures.
  • Track and analyze data to identify trends, define future strategy and improve processes.
  • Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies related to contracts. Collaborate with legal and finance teams to mitigate risks associated with contracts.
  • Advise and provide consultative support to senior/executive management on major business, legal, technology, and financial issues.
  • Manage the contract process as ADP acquires new companies.

  • Experience leading manager-level direct reports.
  • Experience in negotiating, managing, and closing strategic third‑party relationships.
  • Financial business acumen, including analyzing contractual risk and exposure.
