VP, Finance Systems

Overview

ADP is hiring a Vice President of Finance Systems. The role leads within the Corporate Controller Organization and partners with finance, IT, and business leaders to drive strategic financial processes and enable short- and long-term financial goals.

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a forward-looking strategy aligned with evolving business priorities, focusing on AI-enabled solutions to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and insights within financial operations.
• Financial And Operational Excellence: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process optimizations that improve the efficiency, scalability, and effectiveness of finance systems; champion advanced technologies to improve financial workflows and decision-making; oversee execution to support enterprise initiatives.
• Enterprise Financial Operations Policy: Drive revenue and profitability analysis, establish consistent financial policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal controls.
• Financial Reporting And Analysis: Lead development of financial reporting systems and dashboards; produce recurring and ad hoc management reports; ensure accuracy and control environment in collaboration with shared services and process owners.
• Stakeholder And Change Management: Partner with business leaders to align on priorities, influence and negotiate to deliver business outcomes, and collaborate across networks to apply industry best practices.
• Business Process Acumen: Provide data-driven insights to solve complex problems; support senior management with financial and strategic decision-making; analyze productivity, market dynamics, and leading indicators.
• Data And Analytics Leadership/Information Management/Technology Acumen: Ensure finance has the systems, tools, and capabilities to deliver measurable value; invest in talent, systems, and infrastructure; collect and interpret financial data to support strategic decisions.
• Strategic Planning And Initiatives: Define vision for financial initiatives, manage objectives, scope, resources, and timelines; drive growth and margin improvements through strategic programs.
• Organizational Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of financial professionals; foster a culture of curiosity, collaboration, and high performance; develop associates and delegate to enable ongoing growth.

• BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or equivalent
• 15+ years of finance experience, including 10+ years in people leadership
• Familiarity with Oracle financial systems and ERP/data analytics platforms

• MBA or Master’s in Finance, Executive MBA or Finance Leadership Development Program
• Experience managing finance operations across multiple business units
• Deep understanding of financial close, consolidation, reporting, and analytics
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Thought leader with a general manager view; trusted advisor with stakeholder relationships

Base salary range for this role is USD $ - USD $ per year, with potential additional compensation. Actual compensation will comply with applicable wage laws. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, retirement savings match, and more.
