About the Role:
This position is located in Clifton , NJ.
Compensation is $24.04 an hour plus monthly bonuses.
As a Leasing Specialist at RHO RESIDENTIAL LLC in New Jersey, you will play a pivotal role in driving occupancy and revenue growth by effectively marketing and leasing residential properties. Your primary focus will be to engage prospective tenants, provide detailed property information, and guide them through the leasing process to ensure a seamless and positive experience. You will collaborate closely with property management and maintenance teams to coordinate move‑ins and address tenant needs promptly.
This role requires a strong understanding of leasing regulations, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple prospects simultaneously. Ultimately, your efforts will contribute to maintaining high occupancy rates and fostering long‑term tenant satisfaction within our residential communities.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in business, real estate, or related field preferred.
- At least 1–2 years of experience in leasing, property management, or a customer service role within the real estate industry.
- Strong knowledge of leasing laws, fair housing regulations, and rental market dynamics in New Jersey.
- Proficiency with property management software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer‑focused approach.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Real estate license (Up to 12 months to secure after date of hire) or certification related to leasing or property management.
- Experience working with diverse tenant populations and multi‑family residential properties.
- Familiarity with digital marketing tools and social media platforms for property promotion.
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed leasing targets in a fast‑paced environment.
- Bilingual abilities or additional language skills relevant to the local community.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct property tours and present available units to prospective tenants, highlighting key features and benefits.
- Process rental applications, perform background and credit checks, and verify applicant information in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Prepare and execute lease agreements, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of market trends, rental rates, and competitor offerings to effectively position properties.
- Respond promptly to inquiries via phone, email, and in‑person visits, providing exceptional customer service throughout the leasing process.
