The candidate must be creative and have good problem‑solving skills, the ability to work on multiple projects, work as a team, be self‑motivated, and have excellent communication skills. This position will spend more than half the time in the shop environment.

• Work with manufacturing personnel to implement LEAN/Six Sigma concepts and work cells
• Liaison between the Engineering Department and Manufacturing for problem identification and solutions
• Create and maintain shop assembly instructions/SOPs
• Fixtures/jig designs and construction, along with assembly instructions
• Needs experience in shop floor processes and layouts
• Familiar with powder coating, welding, electronics assembly, and laser cutting

• BS in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of work experience.
• Experience with the implementation of LEAN/Six Sigma in a manufacturing environment.
• Experienced in reading and understanding mechanical drawings/blueprints.
• Mechanical abilities to assemble products with hand tools and light machinery.
• Inventor 3‑D, AutoCAD, Adobe, and MS Office.
• Visual site board experience.

• Experience with CNC mill programming (Smart CAM or Master CAM, or Gibbs CAM) is a plus.
• Experience in the Lighting Industry is a plus.
• Knowledge of UL, ETL, ISO, and CWB experience is a plus.

Salary Range: $83,500-$89,000
