Inventory Control Specialist -2Nd Shift

INVENTORY CONTROL SPECIALIST I – 2ND SHIFT

Now Foods is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist I to support our warehouse and inventory operations on a 2nd shift schedule.

• Schedule and perform daily cycle counts in the warehouse using RF scanners while operating Power Industrial Trucks (PIT).
• Investigate and reconcile inventory cycle count reports, reviewing for count discrepancies and taking necessary corrective actions.
• Assist in maintaining the accuracy of computer perpetual inventory and identifying variances for correction.
• Prepare and participate in annual cycle count audits.
• Initiate corrective measures for damaged or short‑dated products found in the warehouse.
• Organize and consolidate stocks in the warehouse to optimize space and efficiency.
• Provide administrative support to the Warehouse Shipping and Receiving team and assist with material handling as needed.
• Pull product samples for Sales, Marketing, HR, R&D, QC or other departments.
• Release and initiate toll tickets and transacts product quantities.
• Enter information in Oracle and maintain electronic or physical records.
• Communicate potential quality issues and address FEFO and inventory transfer errors.
• Contribute to maintaining organization and cleanliness and ensuring proper storage of materials.
• Adhere to safety and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) requirements at all times.

• High school diploma and one year of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Moderate level of computer data entry experience, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Good time management skills; ability to prioritize and calmly handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong teamwork skills; strong attention to detail and demonstrated high quality of work.
• Ability to earn certification and operate a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT).
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, to support the business.

• Lifts up to 55 lb. on pallets, 38 lb. on pallets, 50 lb. on boxes; reaches up to 30 ft. on PIT.
• Requires standing, walking, climbing stairs, using hands to handle and feel, operating a hand truck or forklift.

• Operates near moving mechanical parts, exposed to dust, airborne particles, and food allergens.
• Moderately loud noise level; hearing protection required in some areas.
