$22.00/hr - $24.00/hr

• Los Angeles County Library – Rosemead, CA 91770

• "High Dosage Tutor":
  Tues‑Wed 3:00 PM to 7:30 PM, Thurs 1:00 PM to 5:30 PM. ELA/Math, grades 1‑6. Appointment based 1‑v‑1, 3‑v‑1.
• "Homework Helper":
  Tues‑Wed 3:00 PM to 7:30 PM, Thurs 1:00 PM to 5:30 PM & Fri 1:00 PM to 5:30 PM. All subjects, grades 1‑12. Walk‑ins.

• $22 per hour standard
• $23 per hour if bilingual (Spanish or other preferred language based on site request)
• $24 per hour if credentialed teacher or certificated tutor.

• Provide small group tutoring sessions to students using the provided curriculum and learning technology.
• Manage classroom dynamics to ensure a conducive learning environment.
• Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Provide homework help to students in grades 1‑12.

• Can complete the fingerprinting process within 48 hours of an offer.
• Must meet DOJ/FBI fingerprint clearance requirements for this position.
• Can provide 3 professional references.
• Have a minimum of 60 units of college credits.
• Have at least one year of student‑related experience.
• Detail‑oriented and highly dependable.
• Effective communicator.
• Reliable transportation.
• Can provide a negative tuberculosis test within 2 weeks of being hired.
• Love learning, teaching, and empowering others to soar.
