Position: Senior Project Specialist (Workday) (P1-1704379-1)

Summary of

Job Description:

The Senior Project Specialist (Workday) is responsible for leading optimization projects to realize the full potential of the Workday Talent and Performance module. This position effectively manages both in-house and other resources to deliver high quality Workday Talent and Performance solutions. The Senior Project Specialist builds alignment around business processes and design, ensuring alignment with Workday Talent and Performance best practices.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Leads optimization projects to realize the full potential of the Workday Talent and Performance module. Effectively manages both in-house and other resources to deliver high quality Workday Talent and Performance solutions.
  • Defines project scope, objectives, and deliverables for Workday Talent and Performance implementation projects and participates in and/or leads kick‑off meeting and ongoing project meetings, brainstorming best approach with the project team.
  • Oversees project tasks and activities, establishing milestone dates, assigning responsibilities to team members, and tracking progress. Prepares and delivers regular project status reports to stakeholders.
  • Troubleshoots and offers solutions when challenges arise.
  • Provides support to business partners during the testing phase to ensure the Talent and Performance functionalities meet their needs and expectations.
  • Develops detailed technical specifications for Workday Talent and Performance configurations and integrations.
  • Maintains regular and effective communication with business partners, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and optimization of the Workday Talent and Performance module.
  • Builds alignment around business processes and design, ensuring alignment with Workday Talent and Performance best practices.
  • Analyzes downstream technical impact from backlog resolution and/or release management activities.
  • Provides insights and recommendations to leadership and business partners related to these activities.
  • Contributes to large cross‑functional initiatives and implementations activities.

Your background and experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, IS or related field required
  • 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably in a retail/hospitality operations environment
  • Successful completion of initial and periodically required trainings.
  • Obtaining a valid Food Handler's Card within 30 days of employment is a requirement of this position.

Pay Range: M3: $90,000 - $126,500/ Annual

* Within the range, individual pay is determined using various factors, including work location and experience.
