Trident Consulting is seeking "Android Developer" for one of our clients. A global leader in business and technology services
Location: San Leandro, CA (preferred Locals)
Contract
Rate - $80/hr on W2
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 7+ years of professional Android development experience, with at least 2+ years in a lead or senior role.
- Proficiency in Kotlin and Java
, with deep understanding of the Android SDK and Jetpack libraries. - Strong experience with RESTful APIs, Graph
QL, Web Sockets
, and backend integration. - Expertise in architectural patterns (MVVM, MVP, MVI, Clean Architecture).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, unit/UI testing, and automated build/deployment tools (Gradle, Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, etc.).
- Solid understanding of Android UI/UX guidelines, Material Design, and accessibility standards.
- Experience with cloud services (Firebase, AWS, Azure, or GCP) for mobile applications.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Jetpack Compose and modern declarative UI development.
- Knowledge of mobile security best practices (data encryption, secure storage, authentication).
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Published apps on Google Play Store or significant contributions to open-source projects.
