Trident Consulting is seeking an Android Developer for one of our clients, a global leader in business and technology services.
Contract – W2

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of professional Android development experience, with at least 2+ years in a lead or senior role.
• Proficiency in Kotlin and Java
  , with deep understanding of the Android SDK and Jetpack libraries.
• Strong experience with RESTful APIs, Graph
  
  QL, Web Sockets
  , and backend integration.
• Expertise in architectural patterns (MVVM, MVP, MVI, Clean Architecture).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, unit/UI testing, and automated build/deployment tools (Gradle, Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, etc.).
• Solid understanding of Android UI/UX guidelines, Material Design, and accessibility standards.
• Experience with cloud services (Firebase, AWS, Azure, or GCP) for mobile applications.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Jetpack Compose and modern declarative UI development.
• Knowledge of mobile security best practices (data encryption, secure storage, authentication).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Published apps on Google Play Store or significant contributions to open-source projects.
