As a Team Leader, you will lead a customer-centric team, manage a tax office, and help accelerate seasonal tax business growth. You will serve as a front-line manager, develop associates, deliver excellent client service, and meet growth objectives. We will support your professional development to serve as a knowledgeable resource on tax topics.
Preferred qualifications include:
- Multi-unit management experience in retail, restaurant, banking, or related industries
- 2+ years as a Tax Professional
Responsibilities include:
- Partnering with the District General Manager on growth plans
- Recruiting and interviewing candidates
- Handling escalated client concerns
- Scheduling and conflict resolution
- Leading daily activities and ensuring quality standards
- Training and coaching associates
- Managing schedules and timekeeping
- Preparing tax returns as needed
- Conducting performance reviews
Required skills and experience:
- Customer service or shift leader experience
- People management experience
- Completion of H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course
- Continuing education and IRS/state requirements compliance
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Ability to work independently and flexibly
- High school diploma or higher

Pay range: $15.00 - $65.00/hour, with local minimum wage laws applying. Compensation depends on experience, education, and location. Incentive plans may also be available.
