We're looking for a detail-driven, process-minded QA / QC Lead to oversee Inside Plant (ISP) quality assurance for a high-performance data center environment. In this critical role, you will ensure fiber installations, documentation, and construction practices are completed with precision, consistency, and compliance – and that all work supports the reliability and scalability our clients depend on.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Act as the onsite authority for installation standards, documentation accuracy, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct daily QA audits of fiber routing, labeling, termination, and ISP installations.
- Use ACC (Advanced Construction Controls) for real‑time documentation, issue tracking, and project updates.
- Monitor in‑house teams and subcontractors to ensure full compliance with contracts, standards, and project requirements.
- Identify risks and recommend mitigation strategies to keep projects on schedule and on spec.
- Prepare and maintain QA plans for field construction activities.
- Perform onsite quality inspections and audits consistently and thoroughly.
- Enforce strict adherence to safety requirements, including OSHA and NEC guidelines.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement across project teams.
- Maintain control of documentation, including digital filing and versioning.
- Interpret technical drawings, fiber schematics, and installation plans with accuracy.
- Keep project paperwork current, organized, and compliant.
- Support management with performance insights and operational reporting.
- Deep understanding of fiber optic cabling standards (TIA/EIA, BICSI, industry best practices).
- Hands‑on QA/QC experience in data center or telecom environments.
- Proficiency using ACC or similar project documentation platforms.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and installation plans.
- Strong communication skills for training and cross‑team coordination.
- Excellent organization, documentation, and detail orientation.
- BICSI Technician or Installer
- FOA CFOT – Certified Fiber Optic Technician
- OSHA 10/30
- PMP or similar project management credential (for lead‑level responsibilities)
Contract to Hire, based out of Rosemount, MN.
Pay and Benefits- Pay range: $25.00 – $32.00/hr.
