Position Summary

The Restaurant Cook works alongside health‑minded teammates in a fun and fast‑paced environment, proudly serving our members with industry‑leading healthy food options. The Cook produces menu items according to recipes in a timely manner while following food safety guidelines.

• Adhere to the daily needs for the Bistro, including stocking supplies, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring kitchen safety.
• Maintain Life Cafe and kitchen cleanliness, including sweeping, mopping, cleaning kitchen equipment, and washing dishes.
• Manage the flow of food production in conjunction with the sandwich and salad stations.
• Follow recipes to ensure consistency, freshness, and quality of ingredients while preparing food.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to routinely bend, lift more than 20 lbs., and work in a stationary position while moving about the Cafe for prolonged periods of time.
• Serv Safe certification required within the first 90 days of hire.
• CPR/AED certification required within the first 30 days of hire.

• Experience in a restaurant with fast‑casual or full‑service experience.
• Experience prepping recipes.

This is an hourly position with wages starting at $15.50 and paying up to $18.50, based on experience and qualifications.
