Position Summary
Pilates Instructors are responsible for supporting all members in championing happier, and healthier lives by building and nurturing relationships. They provide a positive member experience that is educational, supportive, and upholds the integrity of the Life Time Brand.
Job Duties / Responsibilities- Develop safe, professional, and comprehensive client programs that drive client goal achievement and retention
- Instruct both private and group Pilates classes
- Monitor and instruct clients during Pilates training sessions on the safe and effective use of equipment
- Conduct fitness consultations for new clients, including pre-participation screening and goal setting to assess and recommend Pilates training programs
- Promote and sell Pilates training programs and classes, Group Fitness classes, and Personal Training to members
- Complete all administrative requirements associated with each client’s fitness plan
- Maintain the cleanliness of the Pilates studio
- Remain current on certifications and new trends in the industry
- Educate members on current health and fitness issues and trends
Required Qualifications
- Experience in Pilates program design
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, climb, kneel and lift up to 50 pounds
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 year of personal training experience
- 6 months of experience in adjusting body alignment and using Reformer, Cadillac, Chair, and Barrel equipment
- Certified Pilates Trainer
- CPR and AED Certified
- College degree in Kinesiology, Sports Medicine or other related field
This position will be paid commissions between 10% and 60% depending on the product and the Team Member's productivity. The weekly minimum pay for the position will be at least applicable minimum wage for each hour worked.
