- Directs, assigns and manages projects for probationary workers and work crews.
- Prepares monthly work crew reports and performs data entry functions.
- Maintains and issues equipment to probationary workers and work crews.
- Recommends equipment expenditures.
- Maintains case documentation of CSR hours performed.
- Assigns duties and plans work of others.
- Transports probationers to and from worksites, tows trailer, and works in outdoor environments throughout the year.
- Participates in activities and duties related to emergency management during a local state of disaster as directed by appropriate county managers.
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED.
- 2 years job related experience.
- Basic knowledge of probation procedure and supervisory skills.
- Construction, building maintenance and lawn maintenance skills.
- Computer knowledge and organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to deal effectively with the public, other employees, probationers and elected officials.
STARTING SALARY RANGE: $18.31 - $22.89 hourly based on qualifications
CLOSING DATE: Upon filling position
