Pride Staff is working with a local company seeking a Division Safety Manager to promote, establish, communicate, and implement safety expectations and initiatives. The role monitors and stimulates the execution of the company’s safety policies, rules, and procedures, ensures conformance with project and site safety execution plans, and implements improvements where appropriate. This full‑time, direct‑hire position requires multiple years of experience in an EHS advisory role focused on construction or general industry and one or more certifications such as CHST, OHST, ASP, or CSP.

• Manage and verify compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies, plans, and procedures.
• Continuously seek opportunities to improve EHS performance by establishing objectives and targets, measuring progress, and reporting results.
• Maintain department records and reports, such as OSHA 300 log, training logs, SDS book, and action plans.
• Participate in management staff meetings and other relevant in‑house and outside meetings.
• Conduct EHS‑required training in compliance with federal and state regulations and communicate it to personnel and third‑party contractors.
• Perform annual facility emergency evacuation drills.
• Prepare, conduct, and document scheduled safety meetings.
• Perform and document stop‑work actions as needed.
• Conduct field audits and resolve unsafe acts or conditions.
• Perform required in‑house safety training and coordinate third‑party training.
• Maintain employee training, safety metrics, and incident data on Velocity EHS.
• Perform weekly “sampling” review of company JSA’s.
• Participate in investigations, follow‑up, and corrective actions of incidents per the company’s incident management procedures.
• Administer the project site’s drug and alcohol program.
• Review and maintain required personal protective equipment supply.
• Prepare and submit required customer pre‑qualification documentation and job‑specific safety plans.
• Follow all PPE and safety guidelines.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree in safety, environmental, or related field highly desired.
• Industry certifications highly desired (CHST, OHST, ASP, CSP, OSHA 500).
• 5+ years of EHS advisory role with construction and general industry experience required.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and EHS management systems required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office required.
• Must be a self‑starter and able to work with all levels of the organization.
• Must have a clean and valid driver’s license with ability to travel as needed.

• Must be 18+ years old.
