Mid-shift Mon-Thu 8a-4:30p & Fri 7a-3:30p This position is responsible for ensuring products are manufactured in accordance with FDA regulatory requirements as well as company procedures and policies.
Essential responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:- Review product labels for regulatory compliance and accuracy
- Coordinate label corrections and/or changes and ensure all necessary documentations are signed and filed in a timely manner
- Coordinate and support new label creation for Biotics and private label customers, including reviewing and approving graphic design, label size, warning statements, special notes and supplement fats panel information
- Calculating ingredient potencies to ensure product master labels and formulas match
- Communicate with domestic and foreign counterparts to ensure regulatory compliance consistency
- Supporting the registration process of products both within the USA and international countries
- Maintain product master label file and all relevant change control documents for audit purposes
- Help support investigation efforts into label discrepancies/errors
- Responsible for appropriately removing and quarantining expired labels from inventory
- Use enterprise Resource planning (ERP) system and spreadsheets to manage product label information
- Control the generation and use of product barcodes /QR codes
- Effectively working, interacting and communicating with co-workers and lead/supervisor.
- Demonstrating professional behavior while working in a team approach when managing challenging situations
- Assisting in providing a safe, secure and comfortable environment for all staff
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements and skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent certificate
- Pharmacy Technician Certification
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English to perform necessary duties
- Ability to multi-task and take initiative without supervision
- Competency in basic computer skills including MS Office applications:
Word and Excel - Must demonstrate flexibility when re-prioritization is necessary
- Must be detail-oriented with good organization skills
- Must be able to work overtime when the company deems it necessary
- Must be able to wear the necessary, job-related personal protective equipment (PPE)
