CNC Machinist Job Description:

Pride Staff is working with a local manufacturer that is seeking a CNC Machinist to join their team. The CNC Machinist is responsible for operating and maintaining a laser/plasma cutting CNC machine to produce precision components according to engineering specifications. The ideal CNC Machinist has experience operating a CNC Laser, is detail-oriented, technically proficient, and is committed to safety.

The CNC Machinist is a full-time, temp-to-hire position in Rosenberg, TX.

CNC Machinist Job Responsibilities:

• Read Blueprints & determine Equipment & Materials Needed to Complete job
• Perform CNC Laser operations & Cutting on a Laser Table
• Perform Quality Checks to Ensure Specifications are met
• Perform Routine Maintenance on Machinery, Including Cleaning, Sharpening & Replacing Worn Parts
• Inspect Finished Products
• Operate an Overhead Hoist or Crane to Move Material
• Follow all PPE & Safety Guidelines

CNC Machinist Job Requirements & Working Conditions:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• At Least 2 Years of Experience on CNC Laser Cutting Equipment
• Safety-conscious and Ability to Adhere to Safety Policies at all Times
• Goal-oriented, Reliable & Responsible for Meeting Production Demands
• Good Oral and Written Communication Skills
• Basic Math Skills & Ability to use Measurement Tools
• Excellent Time Management, Organizational Skills & the Ability to Work Independently
• Ability to use Tablets, Smartphones, Cameras & Windows PC
