• Ability to read and write Spanish/English; interact with public and coworkers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small‑group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
• Apply common sense to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift/move up to 25 lbs, frequently up to 45 lbs, occasionally up to 60 lbs.

Under direct supervision of the Grocery Manager, the Grocery Clerk will provide friendly, courteous, and helpful service. Duties include assisting customers, cleaning display cases and shelves, filling and rotating self‑serve displays, and performing heavy lifting, bending, and stooping. The role requires flexible hours, including nights and weekends, and physical ability for lifting, standing, walking, kneeling, and visual/auditory tasks.
