Physician, Neurohospitalist-Stroke; Roseville, CA

Sutter Medical Group (SMG) is seeking aBoard-Eligible or Board-Certified Neurohospitalist with expertise in stroke management to join our expanding and dynamic inpatient neurology team in Roseville, California.

This is an exceptional opportunity to practice at a 418-bed community hospital that blends the autonomy of private practice with the academic engagement of a teaching institution. You’ll work alongside an experienced, collegial team dedicated to providing advanced neurological care while shaping the next generation of physicians.

• Board-eligible or board-certified in Neurology
• Proficient in managing acute stroke and general inpatient neurology cases

• Neuro-interventional, neurocritical care, neurosurgery, neuroradiology, and cEEG specialists

• Schedule:
  
  12 total shifts per month (6 day shifts + 6 24‑hour shifts, including home call)
• Provide acute neurological and stroke care in the ED, inpatient wards, and acute rehab (neurocritical consults managed separately)
• Supervise and educate neurology, internal medicine, and emergency medicine residents
• Participate in a monthly discharge clinic (option to focus on a subspecialty if desired)
• Additional earning potential:
  Systemwide teleneurology/telestroke shifts, GME teaching stipends, QI and GME leadership roles
