Job Summary:We are looking for an Engineering Intern interested in gaining real-world experience working on water, wastewater, and civil infrastructure projects. The candidate will gain practical experience that goes beyond the classroom by working alongside experienced engineering and technical professionals on active projects. Interns will have opportunities to support project design, engineering calculations, field investigations, construction support, and preparation of plans, reports, and other project deliverables.

Specific engineering tasks will vary in nature and complexity and may include but are not limited to supporting development of design engineering documents (plans, specifications and calculations), performing basic engineering calculations and research, reviewing project information, and assisting with field investigations and site visits. Work may also include supporting development of detailed cost analyses and site infrastructure design, construction support, and evaluation of existing water and wastewater facilities.

Responsibilities:

Assist our engineering teams in various phases of project development, from concept design to implementation and testing. Support engineering and drafting personnel in creation of deliverables that meet or exceed the customer’s expectations and standards.

• The successful candidate will have excellent technical writing skills that will be applied in writing engineering reports, preliminary design reports, memos, and other technical documentation.
• Assist with water and wastewater system design, including preparation of plans, calculations, details, and technical reports under the direction of experienced engineers.
