Senior Business Insights Analyst (Power
BI)
Base pay range: $110,000 – $125,000 USD per year.
Location:
Remote.
As a Senior Business Insights Analyst on Machinify’s Business Insights team, you will design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that support data‑driven decision making across the organization.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
- Use DAX to create measures, calculated columns, and KPIs.
- Continuously improve existing Power BI solutions by incorporating user feedback and adding new functionalities.
- Administer the Power BI environment at the enterprise level, including user access, security settings, and data governance.
- Collaborate closely with business analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high‑quality BI solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of analytics experience in financial or healthcare analytics.
- 2+ years of experience developing reports and dashboards with Microsoft Power BI.
- Proficiency in DAX for creating complex measures and calculations.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in SQL.
- Preferred: 3+ years of healthcare economics or medical analytics background and experience with Databricks (Python, Spark, SQL).
