POSITIONOVERVIEW
The Marketing Manager will oversee creating and implementing marketing initiatives to enhance brand awareness, strengthen client relationships, and support business growth. This role involves strategic planning and hands‑on tasks such as content creation, social media management, and performance analysis. The ideal candidate should have experience working with financial advisors and excel in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Strategic & Growth- Develop and implement a content strategy that enhances the firm’s brand across social media platforms (Linked In, Instagram, You Tube, X).
- Ensure all content aligns with brand standards, is engaging, and is optimized for discoverability.
- Collaborate with advisors and internal teams to create thought leadership content that positions the firm as an industry authority.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on content performance; recommend improvements based on engagement metrics and analytics.
- Write and edit marketing materials that humanize the brand and connect with audiences, focusing on financial education, success stories, and values‑driven messaging.
- Adapt content for each platform while maintaining a consistent brand voice and tone.
- Incorporate diverse formats (text, video, images, polls) to enhance engagement.
- Manage the marketing calendar to ensure deadlines and responsibilities are clear and met.
- Engage with social media communities by responding to comments, messages, and brand mentions.
- Conduct quarterly brand audits and competitive analyses to identify opportunities for differentiation.
- Prepare reports including:
- Audience personas and case studies
- Keyword research and SEO opportunities
- Internal/external linking strategies
- Recommendations for on‑page optimization
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong research and analytical abilities
- Creative and innovative thinking
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives
- Professional judgment, discretion, and keen attention to detail
- Proficiency in budget management
- 5–7 years of marketing experience, with at least 3 years supporting financial advisors or working within the financial services sector.
- A proven track record of driving both strategic initiatives and executing hands‑on marketing efforts.
- Experience in various areas, including media, branding, digital marketing, content creation, events, and communications.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to persuade and collaborate effectively.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment with changing priorities.
- Willingness to challenge the status quo and embrace new approaches.
- Capability to use standard business equipment and technology, with or without accommodation.
Activities take place in an office environment or a secure remote location. The noise level is typically quiet.
