You should be able to delegate tasks to kitchen staff to ensure meals are prepared in a timely manner. You should be familiar with sanitation regulations. You have the ability to train, develop, and create a culture for success.

• Overall responsibility for the kitchen’s daily operations.
• Liaising with the contracted companies for food orders.
• Interviewing and hiring new kitchen staff.
• Maintaining / raising the food’s profit margins.
• Controlling the BOH labor cost.
• Monitoring and controlling stock levels.
• Ensuring correct stock rotation procedures are followed.
• Implementation of health and safety procedures in the kitchen.
• Monthly pricing audits using your invoices.
• Completing weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly inventory.
• Completing the business system to organize the restaurant's financials.
• Completing the purchase log report
• Completing inventory sheet, maintaining the menu cost analysis, updating pricing quarterly.
• Creating the kitchen schedule using forecasted sales projections.
• Maintaining food quality and plate presentation standards

• High school diploma/GED
• Previous food service experience
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, restaurant management software, and POS software
• Ability to remain calm and thrive under pressure
• Excellent management and leadership skills
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
