Job DescriptionSecurity Officer - Healthcare Patrol in Roseville, CA
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned healthcare locations, helping to deter security‑related incidents and provide peace of mind to staff, patients, and visitors. You will perform routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.

- Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures, following site‑specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner within the healthcare location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible presence.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help deter unauthorized entry and maintain order within the healthcare environment.
- Document and report any security‑related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal protocols.
- Assist patients, visitors, and staff with directions and general inquiries while maintaining a professional and approachable demeanor.
- Support emergency response efforts by following established procedures and coordinating with healthcare staff and local authorities as necessary.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Access control or badge experience is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
