We are currently seeking qualified Finish Carpenters / Prep
- Detail for new home construction. Qualified individuals must have reliable transportation and his/her own tools to perform job duties.
Job Description:
Our company is looking for reliable finish Carpenters / Prep Detailers to perform an assortment of job functions that relate to Finish Carpentry. Functions range from Installing baseboards, Minor drywall repair, and Paint Touch-ups to Caulking and prep work.
Responsibilities:
- Must have the skill and knowledge to perform all required
Job Duties: - Must be able to identify punch list items on a home
- Perform Drywall Repair, texture ( Must be able to match texture ) and paint
- The ability to install hardware
- Fix broken tile or wood floor
- Installation of baseboard
- Cabinet touch up and repair ( Touch up and trim )
- Minor drywall repair (size of a half-dollar or less)
- Caulking and paint prep work
- Minor stucco repair and concrete patch work
- Minor carpentry duties, i.e. baseboard and casing installation, door adjustments, hardware
- installation, etc.
Education: No Requirements
Experience: 24 months
Physical:
- Must be able to be able to remain in a stationary position up to 50% of the time
- The ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- The ability to walk up stairs
Skills:
- Finish Carpentry
