Customer Service Representative | Independent Truck Upfitters | Roseville, MI

What you'll do:As the Customer Service Representative for Independent Truck Upfitters (An Aebi Schmidt Brand) you will support the team with various customer service responsibilities.
Core Responsibilities:- Respond promptly, accurately and professionally to customer inquiries
- Order parts using online parts manuals, engineering prints, and photographs
- Expedite and follow-up on customer orders
- Coordinate with buyer for special part purchases
- Prepare parts sales quotes
- Process warranty claims, set up warranty codes and determine appropriate code for the claim
- Deny inappropriate warranty claims
- Locate appropriate service center and coordinate repair of truck
- Communicate issue to Technical Engineering support for solution
- Determine and enter vendor chargeback
- Negotiate and reduce invoices
- Support NHTSA recalls by sending out appropriate parts
- Communicate warranty concerns to Manufacturing, Engineering, and Sales
- Support monthly warranty meetings with Manufacturing to communicate top warranty issues
- HS Diploma or GED required (Bachelor’s or Associate degree preferred)
- Strong customer service skills
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Proficient with MS Office applications
