Job Description We are seeking an experienced Tool & Die CAD Designer to join our team in Roseville, MI. This position focuses on designing and developing metal stamping dies using Siemens NX.The ideal candidate has a strong background in tool and die design, metal stamping, and die construction.
Experience with progressive dies, transfer dies, or Class A automotive dies is a plus.
Responsibilities Design and modify metal stamping dies and related tooling components.
Create 3D models, 2D drawings, and detailed die layouts using Siemens NX.Work closely with toolmakers, die makers, engineers, and manufacturing teams.
Review blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T requirements.
Make design changes and improvements based on manufacturing needs.
Support die builds, tryouts, and troubleshooting.
Ensure tooling designs meet quality and production requirements.
Qualifications3+ years of metal stamping die design experience required.
Siemens NX experience required.
Strong understanding of tool and die construction and metal stamping processes.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T.Experience creating and modifying tooling designs.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Experience Progressive and transfer die design
