Store Night Clerk – Kroger Mountain View Foods

Join Kroger Mountain View Foods as a Store Night Clerk. Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages customers to return. Assist the department manager in reaching sales and profit goals and monitor all established quality assurance standards.

• Promote trust and respect among associates.
• Provide a welcoming environment and answer product questions.
• Maintain knowledge of products to recommend items and specials.
• Check product quality, review sell‑by dates, and label stock.
• Inventory merchandise to ensure customers receive fresh products.
• Report product ordering or shipping discrepancies.
• Display a positive attitude and stay current with seasonal and special ads.
• Adhere to all food safety regulations and maintain proper temperatures.
• Reinforce safety programs, inspect equipment, and notify management of repairs or accidents.
• Report all safety risks, illegal activity, and report accidents.
• Must be able to perform the essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Minimum
  • Ability to handle stressful situations.
  • Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction).
  • Effective communication skills.
• Desired
  • Any retail experience.
  • Second language (speaking, reading or writing).
