Upfit Technician

Upfit Technician | Independent Truck Upfitters | Roseville, MI

Regular Employee | Hourly Non-Exempt | $15.00 - $19.00

• Complete consistent and quality installs of truck accessories including but not limited to lift gates, shelving units, tool boxes, body components and lighting systems
• Complete custom service repairs on commercial vehicles and flatbeds, including service repairs on truck bodies
• Document the cause and corrections for all repairs
• Fabricate custom mounting brackets
• Read and follow detailed work orders, installation drawings, blueprints, etc.

• HS Diploma or GED required
• Experience in a service shop environment preferred
• Experience with vehicle mechanics, including electrical systems, hydraulics and basic fabrication techniques
• PTO experience a plus
