Salary: $23.96 – $25.40 in 3 Steps
Salary: $21.46 to $22.90 in three steps (+ $2.50 per hour after the completion of the 3 endorsements – CDLB, P, and S endorsements) $23.96 to $25.40 in three steps
Probationary Period – 60 Working Days
A criminal record check, drivers record check, physical examination, and drug and alcohol test are required for all new bus drivers.
A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-BPS) is required, or applicant must be able to successfully complete the following tests:
- Air Brake Test
- Skills Test which includes vehicle inspection, Basic Control Skills and On the Road Skills
- Beginning Bus Driver Course
- Advanced Bus Driver Course
- Any other test that may be required in the future from the federal government.
