Inside Sales and Customer Service Representative

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Reports to: Customer Service Lead

Role Description

This hybrid role combines inside sales support with customer service excellence. You’ll assist with inside sales activities, including quoting, follow‑ups, and supporting regional sales initiatives. You’ll be the first point of contact for customers, ensuring they receive accurate product guidance, timely quote and order updates, and exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide first‑class inside sales support and customer service via phone, email, and CRM.
  • Support regional sales efforts and reseller relationships.
  • Understand technical aspects of Reid’s product range to advise customers.
  • Prepare and follow up on quotes; maintain CRM records.
  • Process orders accurately and coordinate timely acknowledgements.
  • Communicate with key contacts and resolve issues promptly.
  • Liaise with UK headquarters for non‑standard items and inquiries.
  • Contribute to U.S. growth strategy and report on performance metrics.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in customer service or inside sales, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting, and/or a 2-year or 4-year degree.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to learn technical product details and provide accurate guidance.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Self‑starter with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Physical Requirements
