Dental Assistant – Metro Dental care, Roseville, MN

• Greet patients and ensure a welcoming, comfortable experience throughout their visit.
• Review patient health history to support quality care decisions.
• Take and process x‑rays and other diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography).
• Provide four‑handed chairside assistance during a wide variety of procedures in accordance with state practice laws.
• Utilize Dentrix for patient scheduling, record keeping, and office workflow.
• Prepare treatment rooms, following strict safety protocols and OSHA/CDC recommendations.
• Manage supply inventory, place orders, and maintain office readiness.
• Partner with providers and team members to implement Heartland Dental systems and maximize office efficiency.

Monday: 11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Tuesday: 12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Wednesday: 7:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Thursday: 7:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Friday: 7:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. (every other week)

• Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Experience in a fast‑paced, customer‑centric environment.
• Required:
  
  a Minnesota dental assisting license (or in process). X‑ray certification and assistant certification preferred if required by state law.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to access PHI and complete HIPAA training; maintain strict PHI safeguards.

• 1+ year of experience in a dental setting.
• Experience with Dentrix or other dental software.
• Dental assisting school certification.

• Ability to sit and stand for prolonged periods.
• Lift and carry up to 45 lbs as needed.
• Available for virtual and occasional in‑person training sessions throughout the year.
• Must complete a TB test during pre‑employment (non‑applicable in FL & TN).
