The Twin City Chinese Christian Church (T4C) seeks to be the center of evangelism and discipleship for the Chinese community in the Minneapolis-St. Paul metro area. To best accomplish this vision, T4C seeks a Cantonese Pastor/Minister to join the ministry team. Currently, T4C serves about 500 worshippers with Mandarin, Cantonese and English congregations.

The Cantonese Pastor/Minister is a full-time position working under the guidance of the Pastor-Elder Council (PEC) to minister to the Cantonese Congregation with about 130 worshippers. Please refer to the website  for our Statement of Faith.

Qualifications:

• Calling to full-time pastoral ministry in a local church setting
• Godly character as stated in I Peter 5:1-4 and I Timothy 3:1-7
• Firm biblical beliefs, especially its implications for church ministry and Christian life
• Master of Divinity degree (or higher) from an accredited seminary compatible with T4C in faith and biblical doctrine
• Ability to bring God’s Word into today’s setting through effective teaching and expository preaching
• Ability to preach, teach and communicate fluently in Cantonese; and communicate in English with other staff members (Mandarin is a plus)
• Ministry experience in a Chinese Christian church in North America preferable

2. Participate / share in church-wide leadership
3. Provide mutual support for other congregations in the church
4. Discipleship and equipping members for ministry
