Overview:
Lead Elementary Teacher – Long-Term Sub (E1, 1-3rd grade and/or E2, 4-6th Grades).
Hand In Hand Christian Montessori – Central Campus, Roseville, has a full-time (40 hours/week) long term substitute lead teacher opening in our Elementary 5-day Academy classrooms from December 2025 through June 6, 2026 of the school year. We are filling two consecutive maternity leaves, one in E2 and one in E1.
Responsibilities- Serve as the lead teacher in the Elementary 5-day Academy classrooms during the assigned maternity leaves (E1 and/or E2).
- Maintain a Montessori-informed classroom environment that supports the needs of students in E1 (1st-3rd grades) and/or E2 (4th-6th grades) as appropriate.
- Work on campus hours from 8:00am – 4:00pm, Monday – Friday.
- Collaborate with school leadership and Montessori staff to ensure continuity of instruction and student progress during the substitution period.
- Montessori Certification is required.
- A teacher’s license is preferred.
- Applicants should be self-motivated, responsible, reliable, and familiar with the needs of a Montessori classroom.
- Salary is based on an hourly rate starting at $21/hour and is commensurate with experience and education.
