Responsible for leasing apartment units to maintain maximum occupancy and provide an exceptional customer experience that promotes retention. Duties include following established procedures, complying with all internal and legal requirements, and working independently once trained.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Manage the sales/leasing funnel at the assigned community or communities.
- Produce sales results consistent with company benchmarks.
- Research competitors’ offerings and pricing through surveys and visits.
- Prepare office and tour path for business.
- Generate prospects through online advertising, business outreach, and grassroots campaigns.
- Assist with community social media as directed, ensuring quality and frequency standards.
- Provide service to new applicants, facilitate leasing approval, coordinate documents for move‑in, and conduct move‑in orientation.
- Deliver excellent service to existing residents and address housing needs.
- Focus on resident retention, assisting with events and appreciation campaigns.
- Communicate and coordinate with onsite and support teams to ensure resident needs are met with exceptional service.
- Assist with package handling and other administrative duties as directed.
- Maintain accurate records in software and files.
- Participate in networking groups and community service projects to promote Centerspace.
- Required: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred: Background in sales.
- Language
Skills:
Ability to read, write, speak, and interpret documents and reports. - Mathematical
Skills:
Basic arithmetic and percentage calculations. - Reasoning Ability: Solve practical problems with limited standardization.
- Computer
Skills:
Proficiency with Property Management software (MRI preferred), Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Requires regular talking/hearing, frequent sitting, occasional standing and walking, use of hands for handling, lifting or moving up to 10 pounds; adequate vision for close, distance, and depth perception.
TravelSome local travel may be required.
