We are looking for Nursing Assistants (CNA certified, RA, NAR) that want flexibility, but have the availability and desire to pick up shifts. We are hiring on‑call status right now. Must be open to at least two of the three shifts (example: AM & NOC, PM & NOC or AM & PM). 6+ months of caregiving experience is required. 3+ months in a health‑care setting is also desirable.

- Earn a base rate based on experience, shift differential for PM and NOC, and a float pool bonus of $30 per shift.
- The manager builds schedules about a pay period in advance; schedules are subject to change based on site needs.
- Mileage reimbursement for commutes above typical length. Designated home bases:
Waverly Gardens (North Oaks), GracePointe Crossing (Cambridge), PHS of Bloomington (Bloomington), Boutwells Landing (Oak Park Heights), Johanna Shores (Arden Hills), Lake Minnetonka Shores (Mound). - Full‑time Central Staffing employees: 60 hours per two‑week pay period; periodic shift changes permitted.
- On‑call Central Staffing employees: minimum 5 shifts per month, including one weekend shift.
- Full‑time: agree to work 2 weekend shifts per month (no every other weekend requirement).
- On‑call: minimum 5 shifts a month, including 1 weekend shift.
The Central Staffing Resident Assistant is responsible for providing high‑quality care and services to residents across various PHS communities. As a Resident Assistant you support nursing teams, deliver care that respects residents’ choices, and maintain consistency with regulations and best practices.
Qualifications- Minimum 6 months of prior experience in a health‑care setting.
- Current Nursing Assistant certification in the state(s) where you will work.
- Willingness to travel within a 30‑mile radius of home.
- Full‑time: available to work at least 60 hours per two‑week pay period with predictable schedule availability.
- On‑call: able to work a minimum of 5 shifts a month, including one weekend shift.
- Demonstrated competencies in resident‑directed practice, home building, critical thinking, teamwork, self‑leadership, and interpersonal effectiveness.
- Problem‑solving skills, dependability, and adaptability to changing staffing needs.
- Compatibility with PHS's mission and operating philosophies.
- English language proficiency (reading, writing, speaking).
Estimated starting pay: $22.50 – $24.25 per hour. Actual pay depends on qualifications, market conditions, and other factors.
