Job Description

As the full-time Sales Leader, you support the Store Leadership Team by leading Leader on Duty (LOD) shifts and ensuring a stellar guest experience. You manage daily store operations as needed, train, motivate and celebrate associates, and drive strong sales results while embodying our company values and bringing your REAL self to work every day.

Your Responsibilities
  • You have a passion for driving sales: as a key LOD, maximize fitting room and salesfloor productivity and build guest loyalty through a best-in-class in-store guest experience. Support Store Leadership in maximizing business opportunities to drive KPI results.
  • You're a people leader: motivate and inspire the team through AEO’s core values. Model leadership and hold associates accountable to AEO service standards on the salesfloor and in the fitting room.
  • You're eyeing talent and love training: recruit and hire strong talent to ensure the store is staffed to meet business needs; train and develop associates to provide outstanding service and a Guest First culture.
  • You know that teamwork makes the dream work: set clear, attainable goals for Sales and Stock Associates and provide ongoing performance feedback through real-time coaching; motivate and celebrate outstanding performance.
  • You're a visual & operational innovator: execute and improve visual and operational procedures including shipment processing, merchandising moves and visual standards; ensure fitting rooms are guest-ready and aligned with AEO Brand Standards.
  • Integrity is your priority: maintain store safety standards, uphold Asset Protection standards, adhere to AEO policies and do the right thing always.

  • Actual starting pay is determined by factors including relevant experience and location.
