OverviewAs a Sales Development Representative at Your Six, you will play a key role in driving early-stage revenue by qualifying inbound and outbound leads, identifying partner needs, and directing each opportunity to the most suitable Certified Referral Partner. Your daily responsibilities center on uncovering new prospects through high-volume outbound phone outreach, strengthening pipeline quality, accelerating partner-driven opportunities, and increasing win rates across our channel ecosystem.
This position is ideal for someone highly comfortable with proactive customer engagement, both over the phone and in person. This position requires a creative communicator who finds unique entry points into opportunities. You will work from our Roseville, MN office while helping ensure the right opportunities reach the right partners and contributing to Your Six’s continued growth.
Lead Discovery, Qualification, & Evaluation
- Uncover new leads through proactive outbound outreach, with a strong emphasis on phone-based communication. (High-volume outbound phone outreach)
- Review and assess inbound leads against the Ideal Customer Profile (ICP).
- Identify decision-makers, project timelines, and buying intent.
- Prioritize and route high-value opportunities to partners.
- Accurately document lead information in CRM systems.
- Understand partner categories (integrators, distributors) and their business models.
- Match leads to the most suitable Certified Referral Partner based on expertise, location, and performance history.
- Maintain a continuous feedback loop to improve future lead routing.
- Communicate the goals, structure, and benefits of the Certified Referral Partner Program.
- Apply lead distribution standards to ensure fairness and quality.
- Develop strong knowledge of YourSixOS (video, access control, monitoring, cloud architecture).
- Clearly communicate key differentiators vs. competitors (e.g., direct-to-cloud, unified platform, proactive monitoring, firmware orchestration).
- Share common use cases and deployment examples with partners and prospects.
- Address partner and customer concerns with confidence.
- Highlight YourSixOS value and ROI in the context of partner business goals.
- Work with Sales Engineers for technical support during the sales process.
- Collaborate with marketing to maintain consistent messaging.
- Motivated, hardworking individual with the grit and stamina for high-volume outbound calling.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to quickly assess and qualify lead potential.
- Understanding of channel sales models and partner economics.
- 1–3 years in SDR, Inside Sales, Channel Sales, or Partner Enablement.
- Experience in physical security, SaaS, or technology channels preferred.
