Machine Operative

£14.02 per hour + Overtime Monday Friday Days Full-Time Permanent Position

As a Machine Operative, you ll play a key role in ensuring production runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently. You ll be responsible for operating machinery, maintaining quality standards, and supporting the wider production team to meet daily targets.

• Operating and setting machinery to ensure efficient production output
• Completing training across multiple machine operative functions
• Maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and housekeeping
• Following all health & safety procedures and work instructions
• Monitoring production targets and meeting deadlines consistently
• Recording production and operational information accurately
• Reporting any issues promptly to team leaders and colleagues
• Working closely with the wider production team to keep operations running smoothly
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the site
• Assisting with additional duties when required to support production needs

• Previous machine operating or manufacturing experience preferred
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and use initiative
• Good problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Forklift licence desirable

• £14.02 per hour starting pay
