Adult's Team Manager- Safeguarding Team

Our client, a Greater Manchester council is seeking an Adult’s Team Manager to join their Safeguarding Team. Fantastic payrate of £40 per hour! Lead and manage the Adults Safeguarding team, ensuring compliance with statutory duties under the Care Act 2014 and local safeguarding policies. Oversee complex safeguarding enquiries, risk assessments, and protection planning for vulnerable adults. Provide professional supervision, guidance, and support to social workers and practitioners, promoting best practice and continuous improvement. Coordinate multi-agency safeguarding meetings, working collaboratively with health, police, housing, and voluntary sector partners.

Monitor team performance, manage caseload allocation, and ensure timely responses to safeguarding concerns. Drive service development initiatives to strengthen safeguarding processes and improve outcomes for adults ntain accurate records, prepare reports for senior management and safeguarding boards, and contribute to audits and quality assurance. Requirements of this role:
Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England Must have minimum of 3 years post qualifying social work experience
