Payroller - Six

Our client is a locally based business in Rochdale with a pressing need for an experienced Payroller to join them for six months on a temporary assignment basis.

What you will be doing:

• Processing weekly/monthly payroll accurately and on time
• Managing starters, leavers, and employee amendments
• Processing PAYE, National Insurance, and pension deductions
• Handling payroll queries and resolving discrepancies
• Completing payroll reconciliations and reports
• Maintaining accurate and confidential employee records
• Working closely with HR and the wider finance team
• Ensuring payroll processes comply with relevant legislation

What you need to bring:

• Previous payroll experience
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good knowledge of PAYE, National Insurance, and pensions
• Confidence using Excel and payroll systems
• Able to work to tight deadlines in a busy environment
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Available to start this role at short notice

What you can expect:

• Hourly rate is up to £19p/h plus holiday pay
• Can be flexible with hours worked
• School working hours can be offered
• Fulltime or Reduced hours available
